HI, I’M KAI
KAI MEDINA (they/he) is a Filipinx trans-nonbinary multidisciplinary creative based in Brooklyn, New York.
As a child, Kai would express their love for someone through visual art as it was hard for them to find their voice through spoken word. They have found their voice through various platforms of media. The idea of concepting new ideas and splicing together images to create meaningful narratives intrigued them from a young age.
Their priority and privilege is to create spaces that can aid BIPOC individuals to flourish. By working in the creative industry, Kai not only inserts himself as a person of color taking space, but molding these spaces as well, helping BIPOC individuals bring their stories and voices to the forefront.
